ID.me includes pharmacists
ID.me's current medical-provider list includes Pharmacist. It separately lists pharmacy clerks and pharmacy interns as ineligible for medical-community verification. That distinction matters when a merchant uses ID.me.
A licensed pharmacist should select the pharmacist occupation when it appears. Other pharmacy employees should not use that title unless it accurately describes their current credential.
Merchant rules can be narrower
An eligible ID.me occupation does not guarantee access to every merchant offer. The merchant may limit a program to selected medical roles. SheerID programs also use brand-specific audiences rather than a single universal healthcare list.
What proof may be requested
A pharmacist may encounter a professional-record check or a request for a current license, work ID, or employment document. Use only the document types shown in the official flow. The person's name and pharmacist role or credential should be readable.
Students, interns, and technicians
Do not treat a pharmacy program or workplace as proof of pharmacist status. ID.me currently excludes students, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy clerks from medical-provider verification. A merchant may offer a separate student program, and another provider may define a different audience. Check the exact terms rather than borrowing a licensed-pharmacist claim.
